"Pattern Project" Testing Compositions

These are series of tests that I did before creating my final illustration. Through testing I was seeing how to arrange my composition and then what techniques to use, I was unsure at this time how to place the wolf into the illustration; I didn't want it over power the female but to communicate the message of how it is a predator. I used a linier style of  work from illustrator Gabriel Moreno, I found that his technique combines images well together. I then tested bright and colourful mono print flowers and butterflies as these have positive connotations.
