The idea of these two paintings was to capture the energy and expression through the figure using colour and texture. These two painting techniques are very loose and capture every stroke of paint which creates movement within the painting. These studies where created in 1-2 hours, they helped me to understand the body form from a different perspective and how texture and colour influenced the mood and emotion.
