"The World's Voice" Image Manipulations
After researching more in depth into "The World's Voice" project I realised that I had to use a figurative in my illustrations and final graphic work to put across a more striking image and message. For my primary resource, I took photos of people which linked to social issues such as: poverty, greed and addiction. My photographs were then manipulated through Photoshop and layered onto hand made backgrounds which were scanned through.

"The World's Voice" Composition Testing
Through the process of my project, I thought it was important to test compositions so I knew what pictures worked well with each other. This process of testing different medias together gave me ideas in how to combine my illustrations with photographic resources. Most of these tests consist of my hand manipulations layered with images.
"The World's Voice" Final Pieces
These are a few of my final graphics that will be published in the book "The World's Voice". these graphics started as a hand drawn illustration that was drawn in a stencil-like style because it stands out and is more contrasting amongst the other images. My hand illustrations were drawn with fine liners and paint. I created explosive backgrounds which link to the social issue which it's communicating, whether that's through the use of colour or texture. These hand illustrations where then scanned through to a computer where they were manipulated further with my images sources into a final graphics piece.
"Body Language" Figure Drawings
The idea of these three figure drawings was not to capture the detail of the body but the energy and structure. The three techniques that were used where; charcoal and chalk, dribble and stick and ink. All these drawings are very expressive and loose in control as there was a 10-15 minute time limit on each figure. Each drawing was at a large scale- slightly smaller than a A1.
